HCM Data Migration

Challenge

Preserve historic HR data within outdated systems and make it more accessible for modernized HR systems. 

Solution

We were able to successfully migrate historic HR data into the new system so HR professionals could easily reference and update information. Our tasks included data mapping and data migration along with GUI creation so that they could view migrated data within the new systems. 

Results

Valuable time was preserved as HR professionals no longer had to retrieve this historic data from a disparate system. No data was lost and the legacy system could finally be decommissioned.

HCM Data Merge

Challenge

Contractor personnel HR data was stored in a system separate from the dedicated HR platform. This information needed to be accessible from one place.

Solution

Azusa worked directly with the owners of the disparate contractor personnel system to perform analysis and data mapping for the eventual data migration. An ongoing interface was also established between the two disparate systems so all new data would be fed directly into the HR system. Azusa established a synchronous web service with the ID creation system so new contractor personnel ID numbers could be acquired. Contractor personnel were then assigned the ID numbers when migrated to the HR system. Data migration and GUI creation was also necessary.

Results

HR data was easily accessible regardless of personnel status.

HCM Upgrade

Challenge

HCM application needed to be upgraded to the newest release.

Solution

Existing HCM applications were analyzed to identify viability and necessity of existing customized features. Vital customizations were reapplied in the new application version. Rigorous unit, system and regression testing was performed. We also provided training on the upgraded applications.

Results

Software brought up to date while simultaneously maintaining essential functions and removing unnecessary features.
